Collaborative multi-touch brainstorming tool

Collaborative work is one of the predominant working methods used in University. Groups gather to create and develop ideas into concepts. This co-located collaborative creative process is traditionally supported by formal techniques, such as brainstorming. Electronic tools for documenting and supporting this process often introduce problems to the collocated process, such as loosing the benefits of face-to-face communication or not allowing parallel work. This project investigates the area of co-located collaborative work. An interactive multi-touch tabletop system is created to support the early creative process in order to overcome the abovementioned problems.
