Horrifying moment thousands millipedes overrun a village after heavy rains
Two villages have been overrun with tens of thousands of millipedes after the creepy crawlies emerged following several days of heavy rain.
Residents living in Guangnan County in China's south-western Yunnan Province have each collected several dozen pounds of the animals ' carcasses and say the still living specimens are impossible to kill.
Footage of the skin-crawling infestation was filmed after a recent downpour, which came with flooding .
However, when the water subsided, the crawling creatures, each about 10 centimetres (4 inches) long, turned up in droves.
