Durnstein Castle! Adventures By Disney Danube River Cruise
We continue our Adventures By Disney Danube River Cruise today with a hike to a castle in Durnstein! Thanks again to Adventures By Disney for hosting us on this amazing trip so we could feature this bucket list worthy travel experience.
We started the day in Krems along the Danube River in Austria. Our first adventure of the day was taking a short bus ride to the quaint town of Durnstein. This was such a neat little town right along the river that was straight out of a postcard.
While in Durnstein, we took a short hike up the hill to the Durnstein Castle which had panoramic views of the town and the river. It was such an incredible site, and a fun hike too!
After seeing the castle, we got back aboard the AmaViola ship and cruised along the Danube seeing many different palaces and castles along the way. We just sat on the top deck and had the best time taking in the unforgettable scenery.
In the afternoon, we arrived in the city of Melk where we took a short excursion to the Melk Abbey. This was another unforgettable location and the history here was just unbelievable.
This was another great day in the books! Just one of many on this Adventures By Disney river cruise.
