Dubai's flying taxi – the volocopter – takes first flight
Dubai's autonomous aerial passenger taxi has taken flight in the UAE. The ceremony was attended by HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum . The Crown Prince said he was glad to witness the test flight of the Autonomous Air Taxi
“This is another testament to our commitment to driving positive change we are constantly exploring opportunities to serve the community and advance the prosperity and happiness of society.”
The taxis are expected to roll out by the end of the year.
