DRIVING THROUGH THE WORLD'S LONGEST COVERED BRIDGE IN THE WORLD IN HARTLAND, NB CANADA
FIRST OFF RIP SHANNON HOON SINGER OF BLIND MELON PASSED AWAY 22 YEARS AGO TODAY OCTOBER 21, 2017. LOVED BLIND MELON!! 1967-1995
so this was like oct.12th, but i thought id upload it, its us coming up to the bridge and then driving through it. my wife and i were here in January 2006 when there was a major ice jam on the St.John River, they thought that the bridge was in danger, from all the ice that was built up. i remember at the time, the ice was compacting together so hard on the river, that you could hear the cracking, ya felt scared being on the bridge, if that ice would of truly damaged the bridge, its being held up by concrete pillars, but the bridge itself is 1282 feet long, its the longest covered bridge in the world, in this small province of New Brunswick Canada.
about a 3 hours drive or so from my home.
last time we were here, there was a street light, now its a stop sign, so you basically have to use your judgement, if one car goes one way and one the other one, one of yas is gonna have to drive out backwards, and that would be quite the task.... idk why they got rid of the 1 street light, telling you when to go...... but anyhow, decided to up this, just on of the many things in my province of NB. but the world's longest? pretty cool title for a small town like hartland NB.
ANYHOW, I KNOW THIS VIDEO IS GOING TO GET NEXT TO NOTHING FOR VIEWS!!!!, COMPARED TO MY DRUM SOLOS, AND THE OTHER STUFF THAT I UPLOADED THAT WAS PRETTY SIGNIFICANT!, PLUS, I NEVER GET COMMENTS, SO YEAH, JUST WANTED TO GIVE YOU GUYS AN UP CLOSE VIEW OF THIS AMAZING BRIDGE!!
