We found the CGS Hawk in Yakima Washington disassembled in a car port in 2014. It was love at first site. On import to Canada she was cleaned up and registered as [C]anadian [I] [J]i[V][E]. She waited in patience for her turn in a climate controlled environment for three years. During the wait we convinced the factory sail maker to make new covering in the colors of the channel icon. This channel will document the restoration and ultimate maiden flight of our CGS Hawk C-IJVE. Once returned to the sky we will rehabilitate her to her new habitat roaming the Pacific North West.
We are not life long aviation professionals and with the tasks we attempt and some times we'll make mistakes. I would best describe us a a fine blend of how to, DIY and a vlog with a splash of comedy.
